Sure! It will give you some back up and peace of mind, should you get stuck. You can do whatever you want with your truck. If your asking if it's worth it, that is completely up to you. How often do you think you will be needing it or have often do you think you will put yourself in a situation where you might need it? Good luck.

have the truck on, put the truck on neutral, then switch from 4wd to 2wd
yes
First while your in drive, place the truck into 4wd from 2wd. Then place the truck in neutral. Make sure the truck in in 4wd. Put the truck back into drive and that's that.
if you have "on-the-fly" shifting it should go right back into 2wd, get at a lower speed, then try. if not stop the truck put it in neutral shift the gear into 2wd position, if it doesn't go, hold it slightly there and try to put it in reverse. it'll catch the gear.
If the wheelbase and the cab are the same on both trucks, the body should fit.
You have to install the master cylinder that is compatible with your truck otherwise if will not work. There is really no difference in a 2wd & 4wd when it comes to the master cylinder.
If dry use 2W, if snow on the road 4W. However, remember that most accidents with 4W drive vehicles are caused by drivers who thing nothing can happen because they have a 4w drive. Big, mistake!
Stop truck, put 4x4 lever in 2 wd,put transmission in reverse and back up about 3 feet and you will hear it click, then you are in 2wd.
Harry struggled to turn the handle on the winch so that he could secure the sail's jib. This winch refers to the mechanical device used to adjust the tension of a cable or rope.
Is it electronic shift on the fly 4wd? If this is the case start truck apply the brakes, then while stopped, put the transmission in Neutral (N) take the selector from 4wd low to 4wd high. Put the truck back into Drive (D) then move around etc. If you want to go to 2wd then select 2wd. It the truck is manual shift linkage, you may have to fuss with it to get it to pop out of 4wd low. The shifter rod has to be pushed down then pulled back so it could be stuck.
