I think its not very necessary to mention the previous CTC because it will conditioned the mind of the interviewer or the recruiter. Secondly why should we reveal our financial position at the very first instance. The interviewer will obviously come to this point after evaluating your key skills during the interview. Interview is like a game of Card. In order to win the game,play the cards in a logical order one after another.
