24 hours after initial consumption of methadone you should be able to get high off heroin. Methadone is an extremely potent drug which should not be mixed with other chemicals especially those containing opiates.

∙ 11y agoBoth suboxone and methadone are addictive opiates.....to get off heroin , stop using heroin.....it only hurts for 3-5 days, but think of the freedom and all the money you will have when you quit .......you won't die when you quit , only wish you were dead....but if you get started on methadone or suboxone you will be addicted to either for at least a year then when you stop, you just go through withdrawals from those 2 government scams

∙ 11y agoYou don't have to wait methadone is an opiate. It will work just the same as heroin. Its not like suboxone.

∙ 11y agoIt all really depends on how much u used and ur body weight the doctor will tell u that they want u to be clean for at least 24 hours before taking the methadone. I hope this helped

How long before you can take methadone after suboxone?
From experience I have taken both together. But I am no doctor so you might want to check that out before trying. But methadone blocks the full effects of Oxycontin so it's not fun to take together. If you are trying to get off oxy with the methadone I would say wait about 5 or 6 hours. again i am no doctor so ask one before doing this.
