Trying anorexia is about as silly as suggesting to try OCD to get better at remembering things. Anorexia is a KILLER, and not something you can "try" for awhile and then set aside. Be glad that you don't have it, it ruins lives. If you really are an athlete then your metabolism hasn't got much choice but to keep running, unless you've been messing around with your diet so bad that your body has switched over into starvation mode. Probably all you need to do is to monitor what you eat more closely, and stick to the plan.
