Should you use a shake weight?

There is absolutely no real science or definitive physiological reason for a shake weight to be any more or less effective than a normal weight. As with many (if not most) modern "get in shape fast" devices, the product depends upon a sneaky marketing scheme that makes claims it can't truly back up by using paid testimonials.

You would get as much benefit from yoga, a standard exercise routine of pushups and situps, or using normal weights.
