You have two choices
* You either fight to get them back - start by changing your lifestyle
or * You move on. I find it hard to accept that someone who was "never home from working" actually required "a little me time". Perhaps your girl also found it hard to accept..... did your family not deserve a little "we" time?
Your phrasing of the question seems to show a lack of real concern that they are gone.... what would 'waiting' do? It is a passive response to a situation you brought abut... the cure - whatever it is to be - is up to you.
