It depends on how old they are if they are in 1st-4th grade I would say NO WAY but if they were in 5th or 6th grade maybe depending on how mature they are. If they are in 7th or 8th grade alot of their friends will be dating and it might be OK for them to start but they still might not be ready! If they are in 9th or 10th grade they should defenently probly start to date. If they are in 11th or 12th grade what is wrong with you they should be dating by then! (if they skipped a grade go with the grade they should be in and you should meet the guy they are going to date and if you think they aren`t a good guy don`t let your daughter go out with them.)

Don't even think about approving dating without having had "That Talk" with her all about sex, sexually transmitted diseases, how to say "No!", what to do if something goes wrong, etc. If you believe she is not old enough for you to talk to her in a mature way about these subjects, then she is either not ready to date...or you are not being mature or realistic.
Let her date now just meet the guy she's dating (or want's to date) and you decided if you want them to go out honestly I'm a 15 yr. old guy and I'm dating a girl whose parent's don't want her dating so they don't even know I exist or their daughter is even dating so I think it's better if you let her date (because for all you know she might be with someone right and just not telling you) cause if you do she might tell you about how it's going I know I do my parent's knew about my first kiss two weeks ago. But remember there is a lot of perverted young guy's out there so it's better to know what she's doing than one day finding out she's pregeant but there are guy's like me where relationship's aren't about sex it's about love. But not many guy's wuld say no if their girlfriend asked them to have sex with her I know I'd do it if my girlfriend asked me but in the end it's your choice choose wisely. Oh and I'd show your daughter this when you tell her your answer.

I wouldn't. 16 is the absolute youngest I would allow a girl to go out with a boy. Even then, I would only allow it if my daughter was responsible and the guy was, too, and they had definite plans, like a dance or a movie. I certainly would not allow it unless I met the boy and knew something about him, and even then I would have strict times to return home. Double dating at 16 is actually better and safer, with single dating being allowed at 17.
