Shunt in your head due to having a cyst and brain surgery Lately you have had pains where the shunt is could this mean it needs to be checked It worrys you can someone give you advice?

I had a friend who had a shunt in their brain and the doctor said if he ever had pains he should go to A&E immediately because it has probably moved and is lodging itself further into the brain and has caused internal bleeding
