I was 6 weeks pregnant when i miscarried. I started spotting earlier on though, like at 5 weeks, It started with very little and very light brown discharge that turned darker n darker, then in turned into pink in 3 days and then into bright red two days after the bright red, my doc told me my HCG levels are decreasing and a loss is expected, and 2 hours after that, i started getting period like cramps and the spotting turned into an actual flow. It was like a period, not heavy at all, no bad cramps it lasted a week and it was gone. it has been two weeks now that i stopped bleeding and my HCG levels were down to 12 three days ago. Since yesterday I've started spotting again, wonder what that is, but yeah, that was my experience. Hope I helped. Good Luck!

∙ 12y agoI'm not even 18 yet and i just had a miscarriage. but i honestly didn't know i was pregnant. i was maybe a week or two and i started my period, or so i thought, like a week or two early. i was having sharp pains that i thought were just small cramps from running or eating something. my blood was pretty dark like a brownish tint. but it had small clumps that are like blood clots.

When you have a miscarriage it can be like that. The embryo just dies and wont come out and you have no symptoms. To get it out you will either be given medication to start cramps or they will give you a D&C and scrape the uterus.
