Without a date it is impossible to tell. Silver quarters were made until 1964. Post a new question and include a date.
There's no silver in it, and it's worth one dollar.
a dollar
$3.00
Assuming it's an American quarter, it's worth $3 for the silver in February 2018.
one quarter of a dollar or 25 cents. If it is a coin minted before 1964, it is made of actual silver (or a percentage) and is probably worth more as a collectable coin. How much depends on what year, what mint mark, and its condition.
No "quarter silver dollars" have been made by the U.S. Mint. Please post new question. Is it a quarter or a silver dollar?
A quarter got its name because it's worth one quarter, or one fourth, of a dollar. That is, a dollar is worth as much as four quarters. Being that the quarter is worth less, it's smaller.
1964 was the last year for silver quarters.
Because of the silver content in the dime, quarter(s) and half dollar.
Avg. price is around $10
It depends on the type of the coin, is it a dollar? a quarter? a dime? a half-dollar? Without knowing that it is impossible to even remotely guess on how much it is worth.
You can sell it for either the price of all the quarters put together or how much the bidder wants for it. I have sold one on eBay for a lot and some people can get pretty crazy about them and bid really high. Also if you have it in a special thing that holds it that is in mint condition that shows which state and other stuff then that can bring up the value a lot.
The coin is worth about $3.25 just for the silver, the collectible value depends on how much wear the coin has and if it has a mintmark. And just so you know, it's spelled QUARTER.
There's no silver in it, and it's worth one dollar.
.....If it is a dollar coin, it isn't a quarter. What you have is a brass circulation issue presidential dollar worth $1.
how much is a 1917 quarter dollar with the misprint word trvst on it worth today
This date is still found in circulation, contains no silver and is only face value.
