Christianity and Islam may appear to have simularities, which they do in a way. They both believe in only one God. Muslims deny the Trinity (God, Jesus, Holy Spirit- One God, three Persons). Muslims deny the holiness of Jesus and say that He was only a prophet not the Son of God. With Islam one must work for their rewards and what happens in the after life is based on one's good and bad works. Your after life is based on what you have done and what you have earned. With Christianity, when one believes in God, repents, asks forgiveness, and makes a commitment to follow God, God forgives us our sins and we are cleaned of all unrighteousness. When it comes to the Judgement day, God will either say that you are covered with the blood of His Son whom he sent to earth to save us and conquer death, or that he never knew you because you never accepted Him as Lord. Jesus came to earth died and rose again to save us. Chrsitianity is all about what God has done for us. not what we can do for Him.
