Quantitative research entails collecting and generating numerical data while qualitative research entails the generation of non-numerical data. Survey, questionnaires and measurements using various tools are common in quantitative research. Qualitative research often relies on verbal and theoretical data rather than measurements. Both research designs are used in the analysis and interpretation of a research topic.
Quantitative is data based such as numbers and figures or facts.
Qualitative is based on the things you notice using your senses.
They both require you to research in order to find out the information that you want. You can use primary and secondary sources for both.
Qualitative research is exploratory research used to understand things. Quantitative research is essentially an investigation using statistical or mathematical methods to understand things.
don't you mean quantitative data and qualitative data?
no
your dad
Growth refers to quantitative change while development refers to qualitative change
they both use questions when a researcher attempts to answer when she/he undertaking a research.
don't you mean quantitative data and qualitative data?
They are both very good forms of research the main difference is the method in which the research is carried. In quantitative research there are more statistics involved. Everything is more mathematical in a sense, you're focused on the quantity. In qualitative research there is a focused on the quality of the work the questioning as to why things happen.
what is the difference between qualitative and quantitative
Qualitative research is exploratory research used to understand things. Quantitative research is essentially an investigation using statistical or mathematical methods to understand things.
distinguish between qualitative and quantitative model
This questions references the two primary approaches to academic methodology. Qualitative research is highly descriptive, whereas quantitative methods rely on statistics, measurements, and mathematical calculations.
It's probably similar to the difference between qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis (and research) looks at what is there, quantitative analysis (an presumably research) actually measures how much is there. Since all modern science is based on exeriment (and measurement), I'm not sure how you can do realistic qualitative research.
The main difference between qualitative and quantitative research/observations are the purposes of the observations. Qualitative research uses a small number of cases to determine the underlying reasons and motivations of an action. Quantitative research uses a large number of cases to create a generalized result.
The difference between quantitative and qualitative observation is that a quantitative observation deals with numbers and qualitative observation deals with your sense's on like how something looks or the color that it has.
Quantitative is based on measurements and numbers :)
Quantitative is like how many of the object there are, and qualitative is its color or texture (physical stuff).
Qualitative refers to what a sample is, while quantitative refers to how much of that materal is present.
