Why wont live mode work on Sims 2?
Your disc must be faulty or scratched.
On sims 2 all of the sims died now the computer wont let you go back to the neighborhood what is wrong?
That is a glitch. When you sims die it should just revert to build/buy mode and the Go to Neighborhood,Save, and Quit buttons should all still work. If your game doesnt work that way you may have to just forcequit the game then next time you play dont let the simmies die.

No but if you make them do things that make their relationship build up like being nice to them that might work. But if they wont forgive you, do everything that is on the friendly list and 1 or 2 of those things will help u build the relationship back up!

Unfortunately, you can't actually build stairs/upstairs for the sims on ps2 :'( get the sims 3 or the sims 2 (computer version(s)) to do this. Both work on pc, but only sims 3 works on mac :)

Why wont sims 3 install?
first off, the ONLY WAY to have it work is if you get sims 2 or sims 2 deluxe for pc. install it, it'll work, and then try sims 3. ask any gamestop worker, you'll see. when i did it this way, it worked!

Go onto build mode then look for the icon that looks like a fireplace. click on it, choose your favourite fireplace and put it where you want it ;) I tried doing the exact thing this instruction said, when I got to the build mode, it wouldn't work as the Landlord/lady had made the fireplace key un-selectable. Thanks for your answer but this is not what me or the asker is looking for.

Try to turn it off then turn back on. If that does not work it is probably not the game but the system
