Kill a sim indoors and I'm pretty sure you're left with an urn. :) Hope this helps!
Btw, to kill a sim, starve them, or put them in a tiny room with loads of fireplaces and rugs and no door and set them alight, its pretty sick but theyre only pixils :D

GO to the graveyard and if you can swipe things do it, then you will have an urn in your backpack or you can just go to manage the dead bodies
