They use both but under different circumstances. During the day, they use photosynthesis. During the night, since there is no sunlight, they have to use cellular respiration to produce energy.
Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are related since they both need each other to work. Both are in autotrophs, both use the electron transport chain, and they use the same equation.
This is kind of a guess, but I would say photosynthesis since some of the first organisms on earth were bacteria that did photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis is responsible for lowering the levels of atmospheric CO2 since it is a requirement to make glucose. Cellular respiration produces CO2 as a by-product, so it is responsible for some atmospheric CO2.
Yes. Cellular respiration produces ATP, which crickets need so survive, since it is the main way energy is stored in living things. If crickets could not carry out cellular respiration, they would not be alive.

Since plants conduct photosynthesis during the day, the glucose which they make during the day or when the sun is present is used in cellular respiration during the night. In addition, the energy they have stored during the day is just used for survival at night.

Since the light compensation point occurs when the oxygen produced by photosynthesis is equal to the oxygen required for cellular respiration, oxygen will have a slope of 0.
Green plants are one of the only living things that produce their own food (algae which are protists and cyanobacteria also photosynthesize). Photosynthesis is when the energy from sunlight is combined with chlorophyll to form sugar. This is how plants feed themselves and how we get energy when we eat plants. Without photosynthesis, all of the energy from the sun would be wasted, and there wouldn't be living things. Also the importance of photosynthesis to all living things would defntly be the making of oxygen. living things need oxygen, and sense photosynthesis can produce that in plants it makes the process very important to "living" things.

Oxygen is important to us because almost all forms of life on earth use oxygen in cellular respiration. Cellular respiration is a reaction that takes glucose (a compound derived from food, originally constructed by plants in photosyntesis) and oxygen and creates water, carbon dioxide and releases a significant amount of energy. That energy is what allows the cell to do whatever it does. If those cells stop working, so does the thing they collectively are, be that thing a person, another type of animal, a plant, a fungus, protist, or bacteria. Oxygen is actually produced as a waste byproduct in some reactions. Many of the bacteria that do not consume oxygen are actually oxygen producers. In the last billion or so years, plants have largely replaced bacteria as oxygen producers, since more oxygen is released during photosynthesis than is used by the plant's cellular respiration (this also results in a net reduction in carbon dioxide by the plant, since it consumes more carbon dioxide in photosynthesis than it produces in cellular respiration.)
In a battle of marathon, you need photosynthesis. In a running race, you need cellular respiration. In order for the correct equation to occur, you must balance the equation BEFORE you calculate surface area. However, since the products of photosynthesis are the reactants of cellular respiration, you can just use sig figs before plugging it into y=mx+b. M is for mitochondria which is the powerhouse of the cell.
Since deforestation and photosynthesis involve plants, a tree is a plant and trees have leaves.Leaves are needed in order for photosynthesis to occur.Without them there would be no photosynthesis
Well usually there is a good enough balance that this does not occur. If there is more photosynthesis than respiration the plants will thrive because they are being given the conditions that they need to be able to grow and reproduce. They are being given since photosynthesis is taking place, water, carbon dioxide and sunlight. During respiration oxygen and complex sugars are being taken out and carbon dioxide is released along with some leftover water. If there is more respiration than photosynthesis than the plants wouldn't thrive or grow because they are trying to thrive in an area lacking in their basic needs.
