Taxation Without Representation is Tyranny
the consent of the governed
Some reasons of why the colonists rebelled against the British were: 1. The Boston Massacre 2. Taxation without Representation 3. Intolerable Acts 4. Proclamation of 1763 5. The Stamp Act 6. The Quartering Acts 7. The Sugar act
There came a time when the American colonists began to resent the taxes imposed on them by Great Britain. Most taxes were used to finance the European wars between Britain and France. The favoured slogan originating during the 1750s and 1760s, became, "No taxes without representation!" In other words, they were paying taxes to the British crown, but getting very little back in return.
I don't know any quotes specifically about the quartering act, but I do know that General Thomas Gage, who was primarily a supporter of England, spoke out against many of the acts England was imposing against the colonies. "The Question is not of the inexpediency of the Stamp Act, or the inability of the Colonys to pay the Tax, but that it is unconstitutional, and contrary to their Rights, supporting the Independency of the Provinces, and not Subject to the Legislative Power of Great Britain"

No taxation without representation
The main complaint was that they were being taxed at an extraordinarily high rate on imported goods from Britain and felt unable to do anything about it because they weren't represented in the British Parliament. Their slogan at the time was 'No taxation without representation'.
Perhaps the most famous slogan that came out of the American War for Independence was the patriotic cry of Patrick Henry, 'Give me liberty or give me death!' Although not all colonists who fought the British were so zealous, this slogan does summarize to a great extent the basis for much of the colonial resistance to Great Britain's heavy-handed rule.

Primarily the Colonists argued that because they had no voice in the distant British Parliament they should not be subjected to British taxes (and some other British demands). The slogan was, "No taxation without representation." Then when Britain decided to require the Colonists pay taxes to help with the debts Britain incurred in their war with France, the Colonists rebelled.
I think it's "quality made in Britain"
