If you are 15 years old and you want to approach your crush who is 17, you need to be confident. If you feel that you will be taken as a joke then don't approach her until you buildup your confidence level. Use your mirror at home to practice smiling and being at ease when speaking. If you are that shy, maybe you should approach your crush through an anonymous letter that is delivered in a crafty way, such as inside of a heart shaped balloon.
