The answer to that has changed with time. God sends Messengers/Saviors to mankind periodically through time. Following the most recent Messenger is the "right" religion for that time. Most religions say their founder is the "right" and "last" one. Still, they continue to appear. God must not be done with us yet.
Baha'u'llah teaches that God will continue to send Messengers as long as the human race exists. Following the most recent one is the "right" path.
The beliefs about the afterlife vary a lot between different religions. Religions usually believe in some kind of afterlife; some Christian denominations believe that we will return right here to this Earth, some time in the future; others believe in our souls going to a different world. Some other religions have a similar belief in our souls going to a world different to this one. Some oriental religions mainly, believe in "reincarnation" - that our souls will come back to this world in a different individual, perhaps even in an animal.
Logically, no. There are as many potential religions as there are people, and the major religions of the world contradict one another about essential things, including the nature of God. They can't all be right when they say opposite things. It's warm and fuzzy to say that we all worship the same God, but logically impossible, given the tenants of the world religions. And so we have to face the responsibility of choosing what to believe (if anything), while respecting the rights of those who believe differently.
Christians believe that terrorism is wrong.
Asoka thought that all religions had a right to exist, and even gave donations to non-Buddhist religions.

Most of the Abrahamic religions believe in the devil. Many other religions believe in some form of "manifestation" of evil. All spiritual paths understand the concepts of good/evil, right/wrong, but not all of them have a single entity that manifests these aspects.
