Dawn dish detergent is excellent for greasy stains. Get a basin and fill it with warm water and add Dawn soap, then swish with your hand so you have some good suds. Take a clean towel and (test on the back of the couch at the bottle first) and if all goes well then use the suds first by gently wiping back and forth. It may take 2 - 3 times. Then use the rag and wet it well, ringing it out, and rub gently on the spot back and forth. Use paper toweling to absorb any moisture left and leave to let dry.
