That is an unqualified statement- and does not enter into the type of film- there are whole genres of such things as historical dramas ( Titanic) war films ( Patton) westerns, and so on. It would be an unqualified ( Blue sky statment) to say that S O M was the most popular movie of all time. I saw the play as a kid out in Williamsport, Pa, it was presented by a Road Company. I did not like, billed as a Musical comedy- apart from some ( Mickey-Mouse) type stuff in the opening with kids lined up and jumping up and down on something akin to stairs or bleachers, the drama-which it was was heavy going and almost devoid of comedy. Politics and Religion- albeit historical, were worked into the plot and could not have been removed. it turned me off- and that"s just the play- a bunch of Foreigners? what"s wrong with the USA?
No.
You can find Carrie Underwood soundtracks on her CD's Some Hearts and Carnival Ride. Or you can buy the movie Enchanted. It has her song Ever Ever After.
No. Sound is anything from an explosion to a thousand nails on the blackboard, to the most beautiful music you have ever heard. Music is an organized niche of sound, an area where sound is at it's very best. But while music relies almost 100% on sound, music is not the same thing as sound. Sound is a much broader category.
Nope. they are the best selling music act of all time. :)

Most popular movie ever is unlikely, but this movie has definitely got a large number of viewers and is very, very popular. The HSM movies are so popular they have a three, but the fourth might cause problems because the cast is being changed and it will definitely become less popular with less viewers.
