The speakers at the rear, in the headliner of 1996 Tahoe are 4x10's. They are an odd size that only GM uses/used but with some work you can usually find some replacements (I found some pretty decent ones at Wal-Mart about 8 years back when I replaced mine)
Begin by removing the rear speaker covers in your 1996 Chevy Lumina. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speaker. Reverse the process to install your new speakers.

The 2002 Chevy Suburban features speakers which are 6 and a half inches. This size applies to both front and rear speakers.
