Staff dog which is two years old and she bites her feet till they bleed what causes this?

Dogs that do this mean there is something in between her toes and it bothers her. Try opening her toes up and get it out. Sometimes dogs do this because they have fleas.
Our golden retriever was doing this for a couple of months. He was treated for staph and a few other infections, as well as checked over quite well for something stuck in the pads. After going through this for some time, we found out that he had food Allergies. The vet can do a quick test to find out what foods your dog is allergic to, and you can switch him to a food that does not include those ingredients. It takes a little over a month for it to clear up after you switch them.
