Started yasmin the birth control pill over a week ago and suffering light bleeding after intercourse is this because of the pill or because of the intercourse?
Intercourse doesn't cause bleeding unless you have an alteration in your vagina's inner tissue, that only a gyno can tell you, after an appropriate examination. Other cause may include lack of natural (from your partner) or artificial lubrication. About Yasmin, you can either talk to your gyno or to your pharmacist of confidence and try to take another brand which presents a different formulation. Have you already taken the Papanicolau test? Do you feel any pain on your abdomen?

Hello -\n. \nBecause you missed some pills, you will get your period four weeks… from the time you re-started taking birth control or until you are on your sugar pills. ( Full Answer )
Answer . \nWell, it can be. Try and take it within an 1 hour time frame, if you think you'll forget it and it's 30 minutes before you have to take it, then just take it then. When you start it takes 1 week to become protected, but it take a month or two for your body to understand what it's goin…g through and the new changes it has to make. By taking them later than normal, you're somewhat confusing your body. If you take the pill regularly 3 hours late then change your time, don't have sex for a week and your body will cathch up with the change and you'll be fine. ( Full Answer )

You took birth control for one month then stopped because of the effects it was having on your body you should have started your period 6 days ago Could this be because you stopped taking the pill?
Birth control can throw off your cycle for awhile. Although some women immediately return to normal, others may take a while. I took the pill for one month also. After I stopped I had a period in 2 weeks, however; my next period wasn't for 36 days. I'm usually very regular with a 27 day cycle. As yo…u can imagine I was buying and taking pregnancy test like crazy. Well I'm not pregnant but you should give yourself a few more days. In the meantime take a pregnancy test to eliminate that possibility. ( Full Answer )
\nYou have the option of buying Yasmin 28 pills or 21. The 21 pills option simply doesn't have the 7 last sugar pills that are just there for a reminder to take your pill everyday. So if you have the Yasmin 21 tablets and are done with the last pill in your pack, you don't take any pill for 7 days…, then start in a new Yasmin 21 pack. ( Full Answer )

Had to take a morning after pill one week ago had enduced period because of it and had unprotected sex after period was over what are chances of pregnancy?
Your chances of getting pregnant are just the same any time you have unprotected sex (withdrawal method is not a valid method of birth control). Also, if you prefer to have sex in this way--without condoms--, then a regular birth control pill would be a better option long term. That is because the e…ffect of them is consistent and easier on your body in the long term. ( Full Answer )

\nYes, you are supposed to take your birth control for at least a month before having unprotected sex. If you miss even a day or two you should probably use a condom.
You stopped taking birth control pill because you thought you were pregnant but then you started bleeding could you still be pregnant?
In your circumstances it is probably best for you to go and discuss the situation with a qualified medical practitioner (a doctor) as soon as possible.
yes ou can still get pregnant, birth control is not 100%, no matter how many you take.
Birth control pills can be started at anytime in your cycle, inwhich case you'll need to use a back up method of contraception, like abstinence from vaginal sex or condoms, for at least sevendays. The other option is to start the pill with your period (or thefirst Sunday following the first day of… your period). If youstart the pill on the first day of bleeding, you'll have immediateprotection from pregnancy; otherwise, you should use a back upmethod for seven days as described above. The time in your cycle when you start the pill has no impact onside effects like irregular bleeding. Traditionally, women in the US started the birth control pill onSunday. This has an obvious disadvantage - your health careprovider's office is closed on Sunday, and many women start theirpill late when they notice too late that they're out of pills. Doyourself a favor and consider starting on a weekday, as they do inmost other countries. ( Full Answer )
You had intercourse last night without protection and he accidentally ejaculated inside you took birth control pill right after are you pregnant?
it depends on what you mean by birth control; was it the morning after pill or the daily contraceptive pill? in the case of the morning after pill, then there is an incredibly high chance of effectiveness of the pill and you will most likely not be pregnant. however, if you were referring to the c…ontraceptive pill, it depends on whether you were using it correctly before unprotected sex. if a pill is miss it is recommended that for 7 days after the missed pill that other forms of contraception are used, e.g condoms, as a single missed pill decreases the effectiveness of contraception. also, the pill should be taken at the same time everyday, to increase the chances of not getting pregnant. if your period does not arrive as expected, you should definatly get a pregnancy test. Just had a period 2 and a half weeks ago But suddenly stopped taking birth control pills after the second week And started bleeding a lot after the 5th day of not taking them is that normal?
Yes, it is normal. While using BCPs, the hormones override your own hormones which suppresses ovulation and lightens periods. When you stop in the middle of a packet your cycle is thrown off and your body is confused about the abrupt changes. The bleeding is your body resetting itself. It is always …best to stop the pill at the end of a packet, not in the mid cycle if at all possible. ( Full Answer )
The birth control pill works by taking it daily as directed. If you take it this way, it doesn't matter if you have sex before, during, or after swallowing the pill.
If i took two birth control pills two days in a row because i started late do i need to start a new pack or will it be effective?
Use a backup method of birth control for the first seven days of this pack.
You can start taking BCP whenever you like, but it is recommended that you start either the day you get your period or the Sunday after (the day) you start your period. In order for the Pill to be effective immediately, it must be taken the first day of your period. If started any other day of …your cycle, you will need to use back-up, like a condom - until you have taken 7 pills in 7 days , to be protected from pregnancy. If you are using the 21 days of active pills, followed by 7 days of inactive pills (sugar pills) - you will always start the next packet one week after the last active pill - if you have a period or not. Or, if you are planning on skipping your period, you will start the new packet - the day after pill 21, throwing out the inactive pills. FYI - Some women have days of spotting if they start taking the Pill in the second or third week of their cycle. ( Full Answer )
Ok started birth control three weeks ago had spotting since it started had unprotected sex missed 3 pills last week period not due for another week and a have spotting is still light could I be?
Since it takes your body 2 cycles (2 months) to get regulated by your birth control, 3 weeks is not enough time to know the spotting is caused by missing your pill. The only way for you to know if you are pregnant due to missing 3 pills, and having unprotected sex is to take a pregnancy test. Do no…t take all 3 pills at once. Not only is it not good for your body to have that many hormones, it will not increase the effectiveness of the pills. The spotting is probably due to missing so many pills. Your body thought it was time for your "period". Good luck! ( Full Answer )
This is due to the hormones decreasing from your system which triggers a withdrawal bleed. Missing a pill will put you at risk of pregnancy so you need to use a condom for 14 days.
Withdrawal bleeding is expected when you miss your pill mid cycle. You will need 7 pills, in 7 days before you can safely have sex again.
YES! You need to get the Morning After Pill, which may be taken up to three days after intercourse. Birth control pills are meant to be taken BEFORE having protected sex, in fact, you need to take them regularly. If you do not take them regularly, then they also won't be effective. There is no way to know for sure how SIV (Simian Immunodeficiency Virus [simian being another word for primate]) mutated to become HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). What is known is that since humans are very closely related to primates that the mutation wouldn't have been very hard for the virus …to undergo. The most widely accepted theory is a hunter or bush-meat vendor contracted the virus while skinning a primate carcass and cut themselves or had an existing cut on their hand. Again, this is just a theory, but it seems to be the most likely way it happened, since blood contact can also transfer the virus, not just ejaculate and vaginal secretions. ( Full Answer )
No! It works before the sex, not after. It's also too late for the Morning after pill so now you just have to take a pregnancy test. Have your doctor explain how birth control works.
Typically sperm can stay inside yourvaginal canal and uterus for up to 7 days. There is a possibilty of becoming pregnant. There are factors to consider: how potent your birth control is ( such as how long it stays in your system. Also birth control is not 100% effective on it's own so there is also… a possibility of becoming pregnant with out the use of other protection. Check with your doctor to be absolutely sure. You can start the birth control pill at any time, but if you didn't start them the day of the abortion, you should use a back up method of birth control for the first seven days of the first cycle.
You can have sex the same day if you wish, but you still need to use protection because it takes one cycle before they will fully protect you. Make sure you take them everyday. If you miss several days or a week the protection they provide will be ineffective. Taking them the same time each day will… ensure you don't forget. ( Full Answer )
It all depends on how long you bled before you got on birth control. Some birth control pills stop bleeding completely. If you want to know specifics your going to have to talk to your doctor.
