Texas has a variety of limitations based on who owns the property. Thefts involving fiduciaries or officials forgery are set a 10 years. Things like theft, burglary, and robbery are at 5. Anything else will be set at 3 years. Misdemeanors have a limitation of 2 years to bring charges.
