A 1989-1993 Cummins has 160 HP stock, The 94 and 95 automatic also had 160 HP, The manual in 94 and 95 had 175 HP, a 95 High output was 180 HP. In 96-98 the auto was 175 HP and the manual was 215 HP. 1998 was the last year of the 12 Valve Cummins. An intake and a 4" exaust should add 20-30 HP and a 2-3 MPG increase on your truck.

They can be various horsepowers, depending on how they are tuned, as with most diesels. For industrial uses, they are tuned to run lower but have more longevity. See Cummins.com for details. a stock 5.9L cummins diesel has 330 HP, my dads dually dodge had 330 stock, but put a 100 HP plus chip, and it had about 430 HP
stock they are 160hp and 400 ft.lbs torque.
actually i have a 6.7 cummins and the stock hp is 350 and 650 ft lbs of torque for the 2008 dodge states that it makes 350 HP at the rear wheels with 610 ft lbs of torque, actual power is less at the dyno based on elevation, temperature etc...
If you are referring to the 5.9L Cummins, the HP is 305 or 325 for the 2004.5 manufactured in the second half of production year from 1/04 on. For the HEMI, the HP is 365.
The base(i4) version has 118 hp stock and the ls(v6) version comes with 164 hp
