I make my own by melting bees wax and white petroleum jelly together. i suggest starting out small. You want to find something small to use as a measuring unit, or "part". Keep in mind that it is a good idea to assume that the first time you make it you could easily end up using anywhere from two to ten "parts" in all. It is important to only add one part at a time, let it cool down and solidify, then thoroughly mix it together and see what you have. If you don't do this slowly it is very easy to end up with an outrageously large mixture before the desired consistency is reached. Once you figure this out it you will have a wonderful styling medium, I use it for my moustache and hair. It would be adventagious to search online for how to make your own moustache wax, there are many varied ways it can be done and the moustache community is much better at explaining it than I am.
