Greater energy cost to refine.
Aluminium is more expensive than iron because of its lower abundance in the Earth's crust. It is also more costly to extract and refine aluminium due to the energy-intensive process of electrolysis. Additionally, aluminium has a higher demand and is used in a wide range of industries which further contributes to its higher price.
Aluminium is more reactive than iron (Fe) according to the reactivity series of metals. Thus, when Ferrous Sulphate solution is stored in Aluminium can, Aluminium being more reactive, displaces iron from its solution to form Aluminium sulphate and iron. :)
is galvanised iron more corrosion ressistant than aluminium
Because the Aluminium is a more reactive metal then the Iron.
Because tin is more expensive than aluminium.
i dont know but i know it is more expensive than iron :)
Iron & Aluminium are much more abundantly found as compared to platinum. Moreover in reactivity series aluminium & iron are found to much more reactive than platinum, platinum is least reactive.
Aluminium is paramagnetic, iron is ferromagnetic Aluminium has a low density, iron is more dense Aluminium is not corroded in water, iron is easily corroded The hardness of aluminium is lower The price of aluminium is greater The melting point of iron is significantly greater The thermal and electrical conductivity of aluminium are more important Iron has a greater chemical reactivity ................................................................... etc.
Enthalpy of combustion of aluminium is much more intensive than that of iron.

Since you're already using concrete, not much point in using the lighter, weaker, and more expensive aluminium. And lead is really weak, environmentally hazardous and more expensive than iron.
is galvanised iron more corrosion ressistant than aluminium
just dont buy any type of curler or iron from Conair. I would highly suggest saving up for a more expensive nice iron then settle for a cheap iron, because cheap irons RUIN your hair. The more expensive ones with ceramic features will help your hair
Aluminium is more expensive than steel
Aluminium has some advantages over steel. Since it has a lower density than iron or steel, a car body made from aluminium will be lighter than the same car body made from steel. This results in improved fuel economy. Also, aluminium does not corrode easily, so a car body made from aluminium will corrode less, and may last longer, than one made from steel. However, aluminium is more expensive than steel. So a car made from aluminium is likely to be more expensive than one made from steel.
Because the Aluminium is a more reactive metal then the Iron.
Even though Aluminium is more abundant than iron, the reduction of alumina to produce aluminium requires a huge amount of energy making chemical reduction extremely difficult and as a result, expensive. Source: Chemistry for WA 1 Stage 2AB Cherie Lewis and Peter Lewis
gold is more expensive than iron simply because iron is more common and gold is also a purer metal
