My owners manual for a 2009 suzuki gz250 says to use suzuki performance 4 motor oil or equivalent engine oil. use SAE 10W-40 with an API classification of SF/SG or SH/SJ, or with a JASO classification of MA. Also DO NOT use oil that says energy conserving on around the bottom of its "doughnut mark" (that round sticker that says sae 10w-40 in the middle). It says it uses 1400 mls (1.5 US qt). Change at 3 months or 600 miles, 15 months or 3000, 30 months or 6000 miles, and 45 months or 9500 miles

No the suzuki 800 marauder seat will not fit the suzuki gz250. The mounting brackets are not the same distance from each other.
check on the alternator. there is a small zero located just before where it tell the spark to fire.
Haynes do suzuki dr125/gn125/gz125 (88-05) e-bay 12 pound.
Isn't it true that mostly it's just Harley-Davidson ones that have separate transmissions ? Separate from the engine, especially as to lubrication. In other words, don't motorcycles in general tend to have combined engines/transmissions with the same oil circulation through both? And not separate. Again, to be safest look it up, and use this answer, as just a general idea about this.
Have the Bike okk, and engine switch off. Take the right cover off. It has a screw close to wher the seat begins. to the top left fo the cover. then pull the cover out, it will snap off easy. The with a scredriver unscrew the black cable, ( negative ) first, and the the red, and then just loose the strap and take it off. pretty simple task..
The Haynes Service and Repair Manual ISBN 1844252787 has the wiring diagrams for GZ 125 Marauders from 1998 to 2005.
Typically a gz file extension is an ARCHIVE. That means it might have ONE file in it or MANY files in one file that is COMPRESSED. You have to decompress the file (or de-archive it) and then you can open the file or files and do whatever you need to...then you can RE-archive the file. There are many archive file formats. ZIP...RAR...GZ. GZ is typically used on Unix/Linux systems.
