There ia no 'symbol' of The Bible. But christians use many symbols for things like bumper stickers, necklaces, etc. to show the world they are proud of following Jesus. Such as the fish and the cross, and the saying WWJD, what would Jesus do? By the way, you should read the Bible, it can save you and change your life.

To hide the meaning of what is being said.

Jesus used "symbols" in all of His parables, which He spoke exclusively to the multitudes [Matt.13:34]... which were designed to hide the meaning of them from the masses.

But, when alone with His disciples... Jesus would explain them.

"...when He was alone, they that were about Him with the twelve asked of Him the parable. And He said unto them, Unto you is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God: but to them THAT ARE WITHOUT, all these things are done in parables [symbols]: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them." (Mark 4:10-12)

God isn't ready yet for His Truth to be understood by all of His creation.

During this "allotted" time that He's given the world to man to learn all about evil so that he will know how good good is by the end of that allotted time -- in the interim, He's calling out from the generations of men His "elect." Those whom He has predestined to become the rulers, leaders, kings and priests of His Kingdom, that has been in preparation from the beginning, to eventually depose Satan from his wicked rule over the earth.

The Father is giving these "elect" to His Son, Jesus Christ, to train and prepare for these "Kingdom positions and offices" [mansions]. And they shall rule every facet of the coming Kingdom of God jointly with Christ, when He returns to earth to establish it here.

"...Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: as thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that He should give Eternal Life to as many as thou hast given Him..." (John 17:1-2).

"...I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest Me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them Me; and they have kept thy Word." (verse 6)

"...I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given Me; for they are thine." (verse 9)

"In My Father's house [Kingdom] are many mansions [chambers, offices, jobs to do]... I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:2-3)

"Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom PREPARED FOR YOUfrom the foundation of the world." (Matt.25:34)

"...the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the TIME CAME that the saints POSSESSED THE KINGDOM." (Dan.7:22)

Until all these offices are filled by the Father with His Children [as, only He knows how many positions He needs to fill], the Kingdom remains incomplete and not ready for its establishment.

Bible "symbols" are a tool whereby to keep man on the verge of understanding... yet not quite getting it... until God is fully prepared to reveal Himself to all of mankind.

So, until the Kingdom of God is in full readiness to be implemented on earth, the symbols will only be explained and revealed to those whom God is calling to rule the Kingdom with Christ.

"...ye which have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit in the throne of His glory, YE ALSO SHALL SIT UPON TWELVE THRONES, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." (Matt.19:28)

"... and the TIME CAME that the SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH POSSESSED THE KINGDOM." (Dan.7:22)

"Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, COME, YE BLESSED OF MY FATHER, INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD..." (Matt.25:34).

The Kingdom of God [the "gospel" - good news - of Jesus Christ] is still being prepared... waiting for the "predestined" "called-out-ones"... God's "elect"... the Children of God, to qualify to fill all of its offices.

And Bible "symbols" are a small "delay tactic" God is using until the Kingdom is fully prepared and functional.

God's plan is on a "time schedule."

Man has been allotted a "6000 year 6-day week" to learn the ways of his chosen god, Satan the Devil. Only through his experiencing the results of disobedience to God's Commandments -- sin -- can he, in the end, make an informed decision to repent of it, and live eternally God's way, in love.

And while man is learning the ways of sin and death... God is preparing His Kingdom, to remove and replace in "due time" the wicked system on earth now.

"...as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the Firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's AT HIS COMING. Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the Kingdom to God, EVEN UNTO THE FATHER; when He shall have PUT DOWN ALL RULE AND ALL AUTHORITY AND POWER. For HE MUST REIGN, TILL HE HATH PUT ALL ENEMIES UNDER HIS FEET. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." (I Cor.15:22-25)

"...and DEATH and hell [the grave] were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death." (Rev.20:14)

Bible "symbolism" in conjunction with man's carnal minded ignorance and self-deception is a small tool the Father is using to give His plan the "time" it needs to be completed, until He is ready to reveal His Truth to all of His creation and descend upon the New Earth, Himself.

"...I John saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down from God [the Father] out of heaven... Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He [God the Father] will dwell with them [His Children], and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God...

"...there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." (Rev.21:1-4)

This all takes "time" to work itself out. And "symbols" play their part to accomplish God's plan.

There is many symbols used in Scripture - too many to simply list here. Here are a few: a woman usually refers to the Church; a shepherd sometimes means a priest/minister; a dove, wind, fire, water usually refers to God's Holy Spirit; Lamb usually refers to Jesus Christ, etc.. Numbers have specific meanings as well and can be looked up under 'biblical numerology.'
