Team Fortress 2 is Free-To-Play on PC, so you do not need any CD.
You need the software Steam to install the game, though.
Steam Games cannot be put on your laptop without a CD key. In order to play these games, you need to have the CD key available. This is because these games are still licensed.
ViTALiTY is a team of crackers (crack video games to play them without CD's) who are really big for there know how on making third party installers, for a game like silent hill homecoming witch is a steam game.
The license key is the code on the inside of the cd box (or in cd key in steam) that activates your game for you and only you to play.
No actully you can't you need the account you bought the game with and if you're buying the CD version then you must have the CD
Most if not all non-Steam CSS downloads are illegal. It would be best if you bought it from the Steam website or a local retailer.A serial code is only needed if you bought the game with a CD.
Well, honey, let me break it down for you. If you buy a game on a CD and activate it on Steam, you can still unlock achievements just like any other game bought directly from Steam. So go ahead and get that CD if you prefer, achievements don't discriminate based on how you got the game. Just remember to have fun and game on!
No You can't play Sonic CD on the Websites, You play Sonic CD on the Sega CD, Right?
They can play Cd-r's , example : a Cd-r that was copied & or burned from a pc. But , They can not play CD'S / software CD's (made) for a pc. jkvssc
You can't.
Steam sends games electronically therefore you will need to download it. Most games come with the CD key embedded. The only game I have found to still need the CD key was ETQW (Enemy Territory: Quake Wars). But steam overlay gives the CD key to you when you open it and it asks for it. Hope this helps my steam account is Moo243 if anyone wants to add me.
This is possible, but only if the game already is available to buy from the Steam store. For example, if you have Half Life 1 from back when it was not on Steam, you can validate the CD key on Steam...and then play it without the disc through that. Games that Steam doesn't support however can not be translated over to Steam. Quite a few games are on Steam though, including EA recently adding a number of their games to it.
CD player has nothing to do with the cd play tune unless the cd has some problem and its not working properly. It can be scratches on cd or something like that.
