So reasons of teen cutting: Hmmm. Why is a fifteen year old answering this question? Its because I have been there and done that. My personal experiences with cutting were bad/good. I cut for 4 years straight. I had problems at school, home, relationships. Everything.I cut because it felt good, because metally you can go so numb, that cutting felt like the only thing to be you back to being aware to everything around you. Or I would cut to know I'm alive, I would sit there and stare at the blood running for hours. Sick yeah I know this now.But it helped, but only for awhile. I made those mistakes. Drugs arent the answer, neither is achohal, and certainly not cutting. If you start to feel the need to, sleep, cry, call a friend, talk to a parent, call a hotline, do something else then those listed. Cause it DOES NOT help.Take this advice in, and breathe it, cause one wrong move, could be your last. --Missy--

∙ 8y agoyes, some teens and even adults find cutting a stress reliever but really, its not you end up with ugly scars and depression. its really not cool. my best friend did it for a while and stopped and got help now shes great. if you do it, or konw people who do it maybe you should call a help crisis line.. its totally private. hope i helped
