I personally love hondas. Reliability and performance is all in one package. The highlander is for the more luxurious spacious person. The highlander lacks torque and all time 4 wheel drive tends to put power to the wrong tires when not needed. The pilot is more nimble and quick also has better reviews overall. The all wheel drive of Honda is a constant locking mechanism so it transfers equal power to all tires. An advantage when towing or just winter.
