It could be you have a bad game, so you if you still have the reciept for your game you can return it at the store you bought it for a new sims 2. I've heard a lot of times people's sims 2 games don't install, but then they get a new one and it installs fine. It depends. If you don't ave some of the first sims 3 games like The sims 3 or sims 3 deluxe then you cant install it because Sims 3 midevil is an expansion pack for sims 3 or it may not download because you don't have enough room o your hard drive.

Just saying HP Computer is not enough to make a Yes or No on. Most PC's will hold Sims 2. My laptop can hold it perfectly and it's definitely not a gaming PC.

The Sims 2 pets is an expansion pack. To use it you must have the original version of the game. The Sims 2. The Sims 2 Pets does not contain the files needed to run the game. It only is the files to add Pets to your Sims 2 game. unfortunately you are going to have to purchase the Sims 2 also before you can ply your game. if you want to get it cheaper, I would suggest buying it off of eBay You could even borrow it from a friend and install it, because once you install it, you can install Sims 2 Pets and just run the game off the Pets CD.You don't really have to buy the game. Yes you can, if it isn't working you will have to delete some other thing ex. games etc... It takes up a lot of space on your computer/laptop.

Yes. Install the Deluxe version first and then the Pets expansion after. it should work now. lately, i haven't even seen sims 2 by itself... it always has some kind of expansion pack included... so it doesn't really matter if you get sims 2 by itself or not... _________________________________________________________________________ Or you could un-install your sims pets, install The sims 2, or a sims game that IS NOT an expansion pack, and install that. On the front of the Sims 2 pets box it says EXPANSION PACK and on the back it says Expansion pack must have Sims 2 double deluxe or Sims 2 to play!! Please read more carefully in the future! yah, i guess you could buy the sims 2 double deluxe then reinstall the sims 2 pets.

You could have installed something else that has nothing to do with Sims 2 but still takes up a lot of space on your hard drive. If you have a lot of expansion packs on your computer, then you should uninstall some of them and install those onto another computer that has a lot of memory on its hard drive.
