When pushing release button you should hear a clicking noise from the trunk area.If you don't hear anything the cause could be the fuse,relay,switch,actuator,or wiring.If you can hear a popping or click noise from the trunk area and you can help the lid up, it may just be a simple adjustment of lid or actuator.
inside the airbox
Most of them are located inside the brake drums.
If you are referring to the blower motor resistor then it is inside mounted on the evaporator case.
Look inside of the gas tank and it is part of the module.
I own an 05 impala and had same problem. check the fuel pressure relay for a small drip on the bottom. the part cost around 70 dollars
On the 2000 Chevrolet Impala, the Head light sensor is on the inside dash board on the driver's side near the windshield and next to the vent. It looks like a small glass bubble.
A blown fuse will cause your 2000 Chevrolet Impala interior lights to stop working. The fuse box can be located in the engine compartment. A listing of the fuses can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Remove the inside door panel. Remove the linkage from the actuator. Remove the retaining nut from the actuator. Reverse the process to install the new actuator.
Inside the engine.
There is no actuator. The connection is made inside the transfer case when you put it in 4wd.
On The AC Case Inside The Dash
There is a manual release behind the rear seat, fold the seat down to find it, than have someone push the trunk release button. If this dose not work it may be broken.
