NASA named the region where its 'Opportunity' rover landed on Mars after the Challenger crew who died during shuttle lift-off in January 1986. The name of the area is now known as Challenger Memorial Station.
In September 2016, the Curiosity rover was exploring the "Murray Buttes" region on Mars. This area is characterized by its layered rock formations and towering buttes, which provide insights into the planet's geological history. The rover was studying these formations to understand the ancient environment of Mars and the processes that shaped its surface.

Is it the planet Mars.
Mars has a diameter of 4,222 miles but from pole to pole, the diameter is 4,196 miles. Mars bulges at the equator, just like Earth.
Jupiter has an effect on the orbits of the asteroids, but I wouldn't really say that's what holds them in the area beyond Mars.
The radius of Mars is 3397 kilometers. The circumference of Mars at the equator is about 21,343 kilometers.
