if you have the room you need to use a punch and put it squarely on the head of the bolt and use a hammer and hit it repeatedly with moderate to light pressure this will take a lot of time and Patience but what you are doing is creating vibration on the bolt that will loosen the rust holding it. The vibration is essentially what an impact wrench will do to break it loose. this is just the old fashion slow way if you cant get to it with any thing else.

Q: The back bolt for the EGR valve on my 89 Grand Wagoneer is frozen I have used LW for days. Wrenches slip of when force is applied. No clerance for bolt out or sockets. Any suggestions?
