The battery might be new, but is it strong enough for the truck? The minimum cold cranking amps for your truck (if it's newer) is 550 CCA. Some places have smaller batteries that just won't cut it. The other thing is a bad connection at the battery. Try to take the starter off and have it tested at a local auto parts store. It might also be going bad, needing more power to work.
