The Bible no where describes the color of Jesus' skin. It describes Him as being of a Jewish mother (Luke 2:6-7) and the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35). If you consider Jewish people of today, like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or Simon Cowell or Natalie Portman, they tend to be light-skinned. The racist question of skin-color is antithetical to the message of Holy Scripture: Jesus died for sinful men in order to reconcile them to the God who knows no skin-color, but calls sinners from every tribe, tongue, people and nation (Revelation 5:9) to redemptive faith in Him.

ANOTHER ANSWER:

In spite of the "images" that modern professing Christianity has inherited from the artist renditions of the Renaissance period regarding their idea [or rather, their paying clients commonly agreed upon idea] of what Jesus ought to look like in their paintings... the "Bible's description" of Jesus is quite the opposite.

"...There was nothing beautiful or majestic about His appearance, NOTHING TO ATTRACT US TO HIM. He was despised and rejected - a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on Him and looked the other way when He went by. He was despised, and WE DID NOT CARE. Yet it was OUR WEAKNESSES He carried; it was OUR SORROWS that weighed Him down. And we thought His troubles were a punishment from God FOR HIS OWN SINS!" (Isa.53:2-4 NLT New Living Translation)

The "long-haired, slender, effeminate-looking, lamb-carrying, haloed, Caucasian" Jesus that the world seems to accept and recognize as Jesus Christ... the Jesus that anyone could pick out of a large crowd at a packed stadium or auditorium, today, is NOT the Jesus of the Bible.

The REAL Jesus of the Bible easily became "lost in a crowd" of riotous people with satanic murder in their hearts when He walked the earth as a man.

"Jumping up, they mobbed Him and took Him to the edge of the hill on which the city [of Nazareth] was built. They intended to push Him over the cliff, but He slipped away through the crowd and left them." (Luke 4:29-30 NLT)

This was a "hometown church [synagogue] group" among whom Jesus grew up from a child... who became lost among them.

"Jesus answered, 'The Truth is, I existed before Abraham was even born!' At that point they [a group of Jew who believed on Him - see verses 30-31] picked up stones to kill Him. But Jesus hid Himself from them and left the Temple." (John 8:58-59 NLT)

Jesus' appearance was that of any ordinary "melt-in-the-crowd" Jew on the city streets and byways of Judea. Which would definitely rule out the character that many "hippy-freak flower children" seemed to be emulating back in the era of the acclaimed 1960's "drug revolution." At least, many folks compared their appearance to that of the world's idea of what Jesus looked like; often referring to them as "Jesus-freaks."

In the realm of false religion, however, different societies and cultures that were influenced by "modern professing Christian teaching" have often depicted their denomination of Jesus in a manner compatible with their race.

But, this marked "lack of description" in the Bible of Jesus as a "mortal man" is offset by John's updated description of Christ AS HE APPEARS TODAY!

"When I turned to see who was speaking to me, I saw... standing in the middle of the lampstands was the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a GOLD sash across His chest. His head and His hair were WHITE like wool, as WHITE AS SNOW. And His eyes were BRIGHT like FLAMES OF FIRE. His feet were BRIGHT as BRONZE refined in a furnace, and His voice thundered like mighty ocean waves... And His face was as BRIGHT as THE SUN in all its brilliance." (Rev.1:12-16 NLT)

So, if anyone is looking for Jesus Christ, today... they might as well prepare to look directly into the sun.

Science, in this regard, tells us that the "light" from the sun is "WHITE LIGHT." And "white light," when refracted through a prism or some other form of "light-separating" device [like clouds and mist], is revealed to contain ALL THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW.

So, Jesus... whatever He may have looked like as a flesh and blood man... was an "ordinary-looking" Jew who easily disappeared in a crowd of Middle Eastern-types. But, the Bible tells us that since then, He has reverted to His former [rainbow] appearance of brilliant, blinding "white-light" [which, normally, appears invisible to the human eye]... like He was back when He was the WORD of God; the Creator God of the Old Testament [see John 1:1-3].

"...From His waist up, He looked like gleaming amber, flickering like a fire. And from His waist down, He looked like a burning flame, shining with splendor. All around Him was a glowing halo, like a RAINBOW SHINING THROUGH THE CLOUDS. THIS WAS THE WAY THE GLORY OF THE LORD APPEARED TO ME. When I saw it, I fell face down in the dust..." (Ezek.1:28 NLT)

"I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to Judge. His clothing was as WHITE AS SNOW, His hair like WHITEST WOOL. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire, and a river of fire flowed from His presence. Millions of angels ministered to Him, and a hundred million stood to attend Him..." (Dan.7:9-10 NLT)

So, the next time the world sees Jesus Christ... He is going to cut through a global shroud of clouds, covering the earth, LIKE THE SUN BRIGHTENING A GLOOMY DAY.

"...the Day of the LORD is upon us. It is a Day of darkness and gloom, a Day of thick clouds and deep blackness. Suddenly, LIKE DAWN spreading across the mountains, a MIGHTY ARMY APPEARS!" (Joel 2:2 NLT)

"The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon will turn bloodred before that Great and Terrible Day of the LORD arrives..." (verse 31).

"And then at last, the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH. And THEY WILL SEE the Son of Man arrive on the clouds of heaven with POWER and GREAT GLORY." (Matt.24:30 NLT)

The Bible describes Jesus as being the blinding brilliance of the sun, which can burn out the human eye when observed, directly -- and the invisible white light of which, to the human eye when refracted, is all the colors of the rainbow.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of ALL OF MANKIND... not just one race:

"The real children of Abraham, then, are all those who put their Faith in God. What's more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would accept the Gentiles, too, on the basis of their Faith. God promised this Good News [gospel] to Abraham long ago when He said, 'All the nations will be Blessed through you.' And so it is: All who put their Faith in Christ share the same Blessing Abraham received because of his Faith." (Gal.3:7-9 NLT)

"Color" is not an issue with God... it's an issue with carnal minded, Satan-guided men.

Spiritual "Faith" transcends the physical pigmentation of color with God:

"...all who have been United with Christ in baptism HAVE BEEN MADE LIKE HIM. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all Christians - you are ONE IN CHRIST JESUS. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the True Children of Abraham. You are his Heirs, and now all the Promises God gave to him belong to you." (verses 27-29)

Was Bathsheba in the Bible black?

The Bible does not specifically state what her skin color was. Remember, the vast majority of the people in the Bible were "Semitic," light to dark brown in complexion. Ultimately, it does not matter what skin color the people in the Bible had. Skin color is meaningless in the message of the Bible. The few verses about Bathsheba or Bathshua only mention her father and grandfather as being in King Davids court and probably fellow members of the tribe of Judah. Mary, the mother of Jesus, is a descendant of Solomon, a son of King David and Bathshua. If I had to render a 'quess,' I would say she was Semitic from the tribe of Judah married to a Hittite - neighboring peoples.

What does the color burgundy represent in the bible?

Specifically, burgundy has no meaning or symbolism in the Bible. The colours, crimson, scarlet or red, are similar to burgundy and these symbollicaly represent bloodshed (Jesus' blood), sacrifice and blood atonement. Maybe this was the colour you were asking about. Very similar to to the colour of burgundy. Colours in the scriptures communicate truths to us by way of symbolic use. The colour red is significant along with others.
