My '93 Safari does the same thing. I probably need to replace the blower motor but I found that, with the engine running and with the fan switched to high, if I open the hood and tap on the blower motor housing with a piece of wood, the motor starts and runs for a period of time. After repeating this a few times when the motor doesn't run, it seems to work fine for weeks before quitting again. Hope that helps.
You need to replace the blower motor resistor. I've been there done that.
Worked then closed then Worked then broke
It could be the blower motor, control switch, relay (if your vehicle uses one), loose connection or bad fuse.
your blower motor resistor is probably bad....it shoul dbe replaced.
did your heater switch go out all of a sudden or did some work like high work and low not work? if some worked your blower resister is most likely bad under your glove box
Probably the blower motor resistor, check blower motor at the same time
Hi I guess the fan/blower dose not work. well if not dose it work on any speed at all? common fault is with the fan regulator it bolts/screws to the side of the fan it-self, so the fan can cool it down as it gets so hot. Prob you fault good luck. ; 0)
This could be your actual blower motor that is bad. It is spendy and hard to get to, but this could be the problem.
I am the owner of a 1998 gmc safari awd & my blower motor quit working on high also. You need to replace the blower motor resistor. The part is a dealer item only just go to your local dealer and give them year make & model of van then tell them ya are wanting the blower motor resistor.
Bad fuse (open), bad switch or bad blower motor.
What are you using???Computer: Make sure you have Flash Installed, Try Reinstalling ItiPod, iPhone, iPad: Apple dose not allow Flash on these Devices :-(
its the blower resistor.
