the slave valve is broken. It has rubber seals that compress the oil in the line. these seals are worn out
Yes, it can be fixed, just hope u didnt bend the valves in it
Try to press the clutch twice or trice in order to disengage it. If that does not work try adjusting the clutch tension. If that do not work maybe the clutch needs to be replaced with a new clutch. Try elimination process until you could find the real problem anyway there is no harm in trying and the plus factor about it is that you get to know the ins and outs of your vehicle. If problem still exists when all of my suggestion didnt work, maybe its time to seek professional help. It maybe a bit costly than making it yourself but you can be assured they will fix the problem. So to me, " wont engage" means that you release the clutch and the car doesnt move. The clutch " wont disengage" Means that you step on the clutch but you cant get it to go into gear because the clutch didnt work. So the first one, wont engage. The clutch is worn or the pressure plate is busted. You need to pull the transmission and get into it and replace what is bad. The second one. Could be the fluid level is low or has air in it. Try changing the fluid and bleeding the air out of it. When under the car check the metal rod that pushes on the clutch throw arm. It should be moving in and out. Occcasionally the seal breaks and fluid runs out. If not trouble shoot the issue until it does move in and out at least 25 to 30mm. If this is good and moving in and out OK then the throw out bearing, pressure plate or clutch inside the housing is bad. You gotta pull the transmission and look inside to fix it.
OF COURSE
The Cherokee Indians were treated very BADLY! Many of them died along the way.
When my jeep cherokee alternator went bad, the check engine light came on and I didnt have a clue what was going on until my volt guage was reading in the red zone. When I replaced my alternator, the light went off. So in my opinion i wouldnt consider the check engine light as a alternator light.
in some ways it did and in some ways it didnt.
