Sloth: The act of being lazy, be it physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually.

Ex. Dioganese was a man who lived in ancient Rome. One day, the emporer's son approached Dioganese and offered him anything in the world, and he would provide it. The emporer's son expected him to say gold or fine silver, but Dioganese only said, "I wish you would move, you're in the way of the fine sun light."

Gluttony: The continuous consumption of food or drink.

Ex. I guess you could imagine the nursery rhyme The Little Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly

Greed: The desire for a materialistic object or idea

Ex. One theory is that humans continuously are guilty of greed because we constantly desire knoledge. This is in the situation of gossiping and rumors

Envy: The desire for what others have

Ex. I'm positive that everyone has either witnessed or committed the act of envy. Say a good friend of yours has just won the lottery, the jack pot, even though you may be happy for them, a part of you may be thinking, "I just bought a ticket right before him/her, I can't believe they won, I've been playing the lottery longer!"

Wrath: A state of being that is consumed with anger or rage.

Ex. When you have a 9 page essay due the next day and the hard drive on your computer is completely erased. It's what you would feel about your computer and the situation at that moment

Lust: A desire of the flesh

Ex. These can range anywhere from a woman revealing too much skin, or a man working out. It's often portrayed by internet pornography and Playboy.
