Their differences were vast. Starting with Washington was very Tall for the time period, standing between 6'2"-6'3" where as Adams was much shorter. Adams was considered an intellectual where as Washington was considered a common sense man. Washington was General of the Army where as Adams did not serve. Many other differences. In addition, George Washington was our First President, and John Adams was the Second President. If you mean John Quincy Adams, he was the Sixth President.
