The first version of Photoshop appeared in 1988 prior to the rights being purchased by Adobe who released their first version in 1990. Early versions were all for the Macintosh computers; a Windows version followed in 1992.

The first version of Paint was introduced with the first version of Windows, Windows 1.0 released on 20 November 1985.
Windows for Workgroups
MS Word was first developed by Charles Simonyi and Richard Brodie. They were the employees of Xerox earlier later hired by Bill Gates in 1981. The first version Word 1.0 was introduced in October 83 for Dos and Xenix. The first version for Windows was then released in 1989 while windows 3.0 in 1990.
