so the gas pump could fit in there.
Though the filler neck, no. With filler neck/tube removed from tank you can.
MY UNDERSTANDING ITS MANUFACTURED SO THAT YOU CANOT SYPHON GAS FROM THAT TANK IF YOUR TRYING TO CHANG THE TANK VAN SHOULD BE LIFTED SO YOU CAN DISC HOSE FROM TANK AND SYPHON OR PUMP IT OUT THAT WAY
A person can siphon gas from a Ford Ranger if the pickup was manufactured before 1999. After 1999, most automobile manufacturers put a baffle inside the filler tube to prevent a siphon hose from reaching the tank.
You can not. There is an anti-siphon valve in the filler neck. You can not. There is an anti-siphon valve in the filler neck.
You can not siphon from that tank. You have to remove the tank and pump to drain.
You remove the filler hose off of the side of the tank, and siphon out of there.
remove tank remove fill tube set tank on somthing about wase leval tip tank to the side that the fill tube should be the gas will run out Many thanks for your reply. I found another method by enabling the fuel pump. Where the tank was full, I needed to remove most gas before dropping the gas tank. Method found is to first disconnect engine gas supply hose exiting gas tank and stick it in a gas can. Then, locate the fuel pump fuse box under the hood on driver side, locate the fuel pump switch wires (see wiring diagrams), switch pump on, and the gas pumps out into the can.
Only the fuel in the gas line will escape. It will not siphon out.
You can not. You have to remove the filler tube and drain from there.
Siphon it out of the tank. Feed a hose into the gas take and create a vacuum to remove the gas. Have tank or bucket ready.
You can hot wire the fuel pump, or remove the tank and siphon it out of the pump mounting hole. You can hot wire the fuel pump, or remove the tank and siphon it out of the pump mounting hole.
It Does Not Have A Gas Tank Drain Plug. You Will Have To Siphon The Gas Out. Or Drop The Tank With It In It. GOOD LUCK
