I would have to say yes, he does miss the attention you use to give him, most guys are like that if you suddenly loose interest in them, and develop one in another guy he will get jealous. and not to seem mean but if you are truly over him, why post this question?, but yes to answer your question he just really misses the attention that you use to give him.
