The harp is in the strings family. Other instruments in the same family are: the violin/fiddle, viola, cello, double bass, electric violin, electric viola, electric cello, electric double bass, harp, laser harp, banjo, and the Ukulele. There are still a lot more though.. but I felt like naming a few. :) Hope this at least helped a little.
The String family and the chordophone family because all members of the string family are members of the chordophone famiy
In my opinion, it would most probably be the piano. If you're going to ask why, it's simply because of the sound projected by the piano. It's one of the most soothing and it has a calming effect on the listener. Another instrument could be a harp. The harp sounds somewhat like the piano, with it's soothing sound. So since it's poetry you're asking about, I'd really recommend either a piano or a harp.
The piano is a stringed instrument, as it is very similar the the harp, but on a piano the strings are attached to keys and when you press down on the key, a hammer strikes the string and plays the note. You can see this in action if you lift up the piano's lid
The harpsichord, clavichord and clavier are three such instruments.
For one thing, "string instruments" and "stringed instruments" are not the same. String instruments are the viol family and stringed instruments are any instrument that has strings. The piano and harp both qualify. Now, the piano is a percussion instrument that has strings and the harp is an unbowed stringed instrument.
it sounds like a guitar but it is more gentle and soft is also like a piano because it has high and low sounds.
