turn fan to on, disconnect fan connection at fan itself. check for power, if power is there. fan is bad. if there is no power it can be a blown fuse, to check if fan is okay, run a wire from fan connection to a 12 volt source, ground other wire if fan is ok it will work! also check fan resistor.
2004 ford expedition front blower not working
check fuses first. if okay, use a test light to determine if power is getting to blower. if so, replace blower.if not, obtain wiring schematics to trace problem.
how do i change my blower motor on my 2007 malibu
It sounds as if you have either a power or ground problem at the motor.
If by quit working you mean quit blowing, the things to troubleshoot are the blower motor, the blower motor resistor switch, or the blower motor speed selector switch. If by quit working you mean it only blows cold or warm air, the thermostat is probably stuck in the open position.
Could have just overheated
Start by checking the Audi's blower motor fuse. Check the blower switch, resister, and lastly, check the motor to find the problem.
It will be either defective fan switch, motor itself, blower motor resistor pack, blown fuse, or defective wiring. If the blower runs on high but no other speed, suspect the resistor pack.
Check to see if you are getting power to the blower motor - if so motor is defective if not problem in circuitry to blower motor
resistor for fan blower is in back of glove box, beside the blower itself.
The blower motor is under the glove compartment
Under the passenger side dash. It's awkward to get to, but it's there.
