Animal-like protists
An amoeba is neither plant nor animal, but it's of a different Kingdom called "Protozoa" or sometimes "Protoctists" but usually the former.
Theprotoctist kingdom is divided into "Plant-like protist" , "Animal-like protist" and "fungi- like protist"
Plant like protist
The amoeba is an animal protist. There is not any specific distinction between plants and amoebas.
Well if it is an animal protist then i would say no, because chlorophyll is only found in plant cells. But if by animal-like you mean characteristics of both an animal and plant, i think you would have to find the specific protist and study it further.
