Your answer depends on the diamond mine you reference. Most diamond mines are owned by different companies. For example, in Canada, from their Wikipedia page: "The mine is owned by a joint venture between the Rio Tinto and Dominion Diamond Corporation, and is operated by Diavik Diamond Mines Inc., a subsidiary of Rio Tinto Group." In Australia, the Argyle Mine is owned by the Rio Tinto Group. In Russia, the Udachnaya pipe is owned by Alrosa. In Africa, The (Botswana) Orapa diamond mine is owned by Debswana.
The Jubilee Mine in Russia is the largest open-pit diamond mine in the world. It exists on the Yubileynaya kimberlite pipe. From a mining engineering Web site, here is the definition of open-pit mining: "[It is]. . . an excavation or cut made at the surface of the ground for the purpose of extracting ore and which is open to the surface for the duration of the mine's life."
According to Mining Weekly, Botswana is home to largest Kimberly pipe producing mine in the world.Read more, below.

From Wikipedia, link below:"Uncle Sam is the nickname for the largest diamond ever discovered in the United States. It was found in 1924 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas at the Prairie Creek pipe mine, which later became known as the Crater of Diamonds State Park. The diamond was named 'Uncle Sam' after the nickname of its finder, Wesley Oley Basham, a worker at the Arkansas Diamond Corporation."
You have to go to a certain Nintendo event to get one.
There are some tests that a certified gemologist can conduct that can generally pinpoint the location or source of a diamond. Whether or not the diamonds came from the same 'mine', may be problematic, since many diamonds are harvested using techniques other than mining. For example, if water runs over the volcanic pipe that pushed the diamonds to the earth's surface and diamonds are washed downhill, then harvested as alluvial diamonds, the mined volcanic pipe may be substantially distant from the alluvial diamond find. But the source is the same.
I have an after market FMF pipe and silencer on mine.
You can't. By attaching new pipes to the diamond pipe you will see new connections appear with different colours on them. You don't need to change the colour, just enter the GUI and change where the item is routed to instead.
