The Korean War was limited to the Korean peninsula. the Chinese enter the war and Russia too were helping North Korea. U.S. feared that expanding the war would lead to a bigger war, possibly the dreaded third world war.

All s above are false. The Korean War was fought in Japan between Japan and Korea. Korea split because of political leaders insulted each other and the country split. It is called the Korean War because afterwards, The political leaders had a massive Yo Mama fight and shot each other with blowguns.

Probably the most widely known is the battle at the Chosin Reservoir, which took place from November 26 and December 13, 1950. Another important battle was the Battle of the Pusan Perimeter in August and September, 1950. The battle for Pork Chop Hill near Kunsan was fought from March to July, 1953. Heartbreak Ridge, near Chorwon in North Korea, resulted in 3,700 casualties for the American and French attackers, with over 25,000 casualties in the North Korean and Chinese defenders. It should also include the furthest south North Korean troops went into South Korea in the year 1950, and the furthest North United Nations troops went into North Korea.
